absynth automatization

Hey guys. Using absynth in ableton and i want to automate some parameters.

i want to automate parameters FM index on the osc B and the 64.0000 on the mod. (see picture )

I cant find these parametersin the window where you setup the macros. Any idea?

Hi there,

I´m not quite sure what you did, but afaik parameters should appear when trying to map them as soon as you manipulate them inside your vst. They will
also show up in the instrument tracks automation. However if you still do experience this problem try contact eighter Ableton or NI. (bla bla) If I find the time I will try and automate that stuff, as I also use ableton and (rarely) absynth.

I know what you mean, on other vsts, like massive i can do that, just touch the control and u get the automatization, but from what i looked up its not working like that in absynth. if u could check it i would be grateful.

You should find it in Absynth under. Perform → Assignments ( on the lefthand side you choose your macro crontroll xyz) then-> Paramter : Add → Mod B2 Pitch (/ Osc B Mod Index)

So now you can map it within Absynth to a midi capable macro-controller. Works fine here :slight_smile: In ableton the absynth conifigurewindow will now have renamed “Macro Control 1” to Mod Pitch aso.
