Akai LPD 8 mixer mapping

Hello,

I’m kind new to djing and mapping I need some advices.
I recently bought an traktor Kontrol X1 and the idea was to use it with a 2 channel mixer, and that would be be my first and simple setup. But ATM I can’t afford to buy the mixer, is there any way to replace the mixer temporary with my LP8, I mean map it to replace the mixer until I buy it.
How would you map it? Any ideas?
I don’t want to the change the X1.
