Akai MPD 24 mapping issues
I currently am using the akai mpd24 with a hercules rmx, and am having trouble figuring out what I can do with mappings for the mpd24.
Right now I am using the akai mpd 24 as follows:
- Pads are hotcues 1-8 for both deck A/B
Knobs are Dry/WET chained FX with FX parameters 1-3 (4 for each FX unit bank 1 and 2)
Faders aren’t doing anything
What I want to do:
- Make pads hotcues 1-8 for Deck A/B, and Have a modifier that switches it to deck C/D for 4 deck control, using a fader as a modifier (is this possible?)
- Use all faders for some sort of FX control (I have been looking at the fader fx theory, and want to try and apply this, but how?)
- I saw Ean Has a set up on his VCI, where at a certain value on a knob another effect is engaged? How is this done?
