Akai MPD 26 with Traktor Audio DJ 4

Hey guys,

I just bought the Akai MPD 26 and I am trying to use it with a mixer…I have the Traktor scratch duo and the audio Dj 4 soundcard. I can’t seem to get the setup right so that my MPD 26 controls traktor and plays out through the mixer. Help would be much appreciated!

Did you get the virtual editor?? (VIZEX MPD 26 in Akai’s Website)
It took me a long time to find out how to save the settings, a good advice, try reading the product manual, it wil be very helpful.

Thanks for the advice. I’m more concerned with connecting the Akai to my Traktor audio dj 4 soundcard, so that i can use it with my mixer.

what exactly do you want to do? the MPD is simply a MIDI controller and doest produce any sound on its own…
get a mapping for the MPD and then in the traktor settings select external mixer, go to output routings and set A to channel 1 left and right and B to channel 2 left right. the just connect the audio 4 to your mixer
