Akai MPK Mini Mapping

Ok so I’m not done by any means, but I have something worthy of your time. Let me explain how this works then by all means, enjoy the mapping. Keep in mind you need to upload both the .tsi file and the Akai editor settings file.

Remember:

Use the JPEG

The Left Half of Keyboard= Deck A
The Right Half of Keyboard= Deck B

Pad Bank 1= Deck A Stuff
Pad Bank 2= Deck B Stuff
CC controls Effects Unit 1 and 3 to Decks A and B, depending on what Pad Bank you are in.

This is set up for 4 Effects Units
Chained
Echo Freeze
Chained
8 Bar Sample with Beat Slicer

In Program 4 you can change the chained effects with the knobs that manipulate their amount.

PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK…It’s the only way I can make it better for you.

Thanks a lot for this, I’ve been trying to experiment with this for some time now, and I couldn’t seem to figure out how to map it correctly. :slight_smile:

I have been mapping my Mini but just in order to use the efects… and my other controller does the rest.

Faderfox DX2.. lovely compact controller.. i also have the NI X1 but for some reason is not like my favorite..

a Pioneer DJM 3000 with rotary knobs.. sweet mixer.. :slight_smile::slight_smile:

Ohhh if i could afford it…not that my A&H Xone 22 isn’t awesome…but man oh man what i would do for 4 channels of pioneer quality

yeah is a really good piace of machine.. i love it… check ebay.. sometimes they have some pretty good deals.

Can anyone help me in mapping mpk mini in traktor so i can map it. I need a step by step instruction tutorials.so u can manange my own map.

Noob question here. I manage to load and mapped this one. But i dont get the fx and effects that is noted in the pads (see jpeg). And i want to use the knob in effects to manipulate the amount of effects (min/max), it is in the program 4 but i dont know how to load it. And the cc effect in 1 and 3 ( is that deck 1 and 3?). Haha very noob here i just want to learn how to Do this so i can edit my own tsi. Tnx

hey thanks for the akai mpk mini mapping Ill try it today, I just wanted to ask before to install it what version of traktor you used.
I m using 1.2.7 do you think it will be good? thanks in advanced for the answer

I don’t really use this mapping anymore but the effects were controlled using the cc’s of the pads…cc’s of bank 1 control A and bank 2 for B

i press them but the ‘‘on’’ button doesn’t been pushed…and the knobs are not working… :confused:

is there any other good mappings?

have you tried making your own? I used to have an MPK mini and was working on a mapping but I sold it off before i could finish it and Im pretty sure I dont have the mapping anymore, but Ill check to see if I have what I had
