Albeton export audio muddy

I’ve never had this problem before..

When I export my audio file from ableton, I play it back and its all muddy, like my kick snare hi hat claps aren’t outputting, only certain parts of the song

idk how to explain it, when I play it straight on ableton everything sounds fine, but when I export it like I can only hear the sub, my plucks and vocals, but not the kick snare claps etc

Are you listening to the exported file in Live again? If so, did you turn off warping on the exported file, since it’s usually on by default?

By default, Ableton will export the “Master” channels only. It is likely that the instruments that are not in the final mix are routed directly to outputs, but not to the “Master” channel.

You can also do CTRL+A in Arrangement View prior to export to ensure EVERYTHING gets exported.

ah haha i found my problem, i had all my drums on a drumbus audio but that audio wasn’t going to the master
