All-in-one: Good time to upgrade?

I’m just about at the point where I’m probably going to buy a kontrol s4. Psyched! However, I just want to make sure we’re not at a point where a new generation of stuff is about to be released. IE, something better to upgrade to, or a price drop for the s4.

When’s the next time the next round of stuff is going to be announced from the digital DJ hardware makers?

traktor the “next” generation only came out a few months back so i think you are safe

He’s talking about hardware, but I think the comments still stand - I doubt NI will be updating the S4 anytime soon..
