all these choices for controllers idk which to get?

Hercules RMX

Vestax VCI 100SE with presonus firefox soundcard

or

AA VMS4

or any other suggestions

going to play mostly house parties. For now going to buy a controller and later i will buy speakers and such. I play mostly hip hop, rap, and clubbing music.

budget is $700.

alright i love the vestax vci 100 anyways just trying to see what others think!

for hip-hop, rap, and dance music I prefer to play on Itch and a VCI-300.

For EDM/House music I prefer Traktor…but even then I can still use Itch. The waveforms, grids, and awesome jogs to scratch on are tough to beat. I bought my 300 off a member on this site for 375.00 I think. It was practically new. I got lucky, but I was patient.

If I was a guy that played mostly EDM the 100 would be my choice over anything else right now.

I wonder how different the jogs are with the new 1.4FW upgrade. I would think the HD would make the scratching much better and I always heard that was the only thing that the 300 had on the 100.

I also don’t honestly get why ITCH is the “go to” for hip hop if you’re using a controller…Aside from the visual wave forms, what has Itch got that Traktor Pro doesn’t?
