Hi,

Im currently buying a new mixer to change my setup from a 2 channel NI traktor s2 to a 4 channel setup. I also own a Scarlett 2i4 second gen and a maschine mk3.I am looking the xone px5 and the legendary xone 92. I dj techno and tech-house. I lean towards the px5 because of the included audio interface but dream of the 4band eq. On the 92. The mixing will be on a NI x1, so no cdj and turntables.So my question is will i be able to play 4 decks on the 92 with my audio interface? If not what audio interface should i buy (audio 8 and 10 are out of sales)?What are your thoughts on the px5 and is it worth to invest in a 1filter mixer?

The price of both mixers go from 1000-1200€

The 2i4 only has 4 mono outputs. So, no, you won’t be able to mix 4 decks with it.

Right now, it seems like the best relatively affordable interfaces for that are the Rane SL4 and Scarlett 18i20. One is expensive; the other is huge.

You’ll need 2 X1s.

Hi , your scarlett can play 4 decks in mono routing with Y rca , maybe you can found refurbished xone 4D it’s all in one or Xone 2D &1D+ xone 92 or px5 + Xone K1 X 2 (i dislike xone 92 , filter lfo make ghostsound without source )

4D doesn’t have 4-band EQ. It’s actually a 42 in the middle.
