Allen & Heath Xone/Vestax Pots & Knobs mods

Hi all,

I was at my local audio store and i was fiddling with some xone & vestax mixers, and i found i really liked the feel of how smooth the pots/sliders were on them. They had a nice resistance to them. I was wondering, if i wanted to implement those kinds of pots/sliders/faders on my own project, where could i find them?

The thing is, when you are a big company, you buy industrial pots from guys like ALPS or Piher. In the high end section you can customize the feel of the pot. If you buy 10.000.

Get broken stuff online. Harvest the pots.
