AMA: Kontrol S8
What’s up DJTT? I’m going to be putting together a video for the blog answering questions about the Kontrol S8. We’ve got quite a few questions but I wanted to make sure that we didn’t miss any important one’s. So what would you like to know about the S8 that hasn’t been discussed yet?
Id like to see the Beat Slicer and Freeze mode in action.
id like to see all the different pages of info on the screens!
How is the loop recorder controlled?
Does it include an e-voucher for a pineapple pizza?
I’d like to see beat matching and tempo adjusting.
One way I get from 128 to 100 rapidly (and vice-versa) in S4 is to sync outgoing and incoming tracks to a beat loop in deck C and adjust it’s tempo with a fader over a 2 or 4 bar interval. Can I still do that?
Club work is brutal. sometimes you’ve gotta do what you gotta do. That’s one of my changeup tricks when it’s gotta happen now.
