American Audio VMS2 problem

Hi everyone I bought an American Audio VMS2 about a month ago and its giving me problems. The Controller’s Jog Wheels stopped working on me a week ago, and in the same instance the Controller will not turn off with the power switch. The Controller Works only when the power cord is plugged in, and I can figure out the problem. I have tried contacting the Company many times and haven’t gotten any response in a week. What should I do, If any of you have any Idea please I need the help.

That’s the issue…

Sorry… I couldn’t resist… I personnaly own a VMS4 and am not totally proud of my choice. I think I’ll buy something really different the next time (4 channel mixer with integrated soundcard+using some little controller like mf or ldp8 to play with them…).

VMS product are cheap but provides a lot of control for the prices, they have in the other hand a lot issues.

or maybe try again with the company (you can even threaten them, if you don’t do something wrong, you have the law with you…)

I even posted on their Forums and got nothing. My post on there is the one by ForlornFox and I got no help. I am Seriously going to Return this and see if I can go with a Traktor Kontrol S2 or S4.

send it back for warranty/replacement. ( i have never had a problem with my vms 4, (it is babied/in a flight case @ all times.), but i am looking to upgrade to cd players though.

I’m going to see what the Guitar Center does first(where I bought it).

There is also the The Issue that the controller doesn’t have a good setup for Traktor cause I would like to be able to use the Filter and FX controls better.
hence why I would like to get a Kontrol Controller.
