An odd request

I have an obsession with the book “1984” by George Orwell.

I was wondering if perhaps someone in the DJTT community with a decent microphone would mind recording the words “war is peace… freedom is slavery… ignorance is strength” for me?

I really think I could make a great song out of it. Feel free to do it completely monotone if you want, I think that really would contribute to the overall target of the song.

Anyone? Please?

I use a RockBand mic at the moment hooked up USB. Sound quality is “OK” but for what you want it would work.

Let me know what format you want and I’ll have a go tomorrow.

Lambox, I’m not sure what your trying to do with this track, but I know that if I was doing something 1984 ish, I would try to find samples of each word (preferably from different material) and then kinda cut and paste them together to make a complete sentence (similar to writing a message with magazine letter cut outs). It would be kinda cool to see that done right in a track haha.

That would actually be a pretty cool idea. Unfortunately I don’t have the time or patience to go looking for each individual word. Lol. :eek:
