I wont bore you with the long story so here is a short version. Well, i put my house up for sale in June 2009. Had 2 buyers pull out (twats) but finally sold it to some cash buyers from Poland and i moved out on Friday and we move into our 4 bedroom semi this coming Thursday and cant wait. Never thought we was going to get rid of it, most stressful 6 months of my life!!! the past 6 months have been after it falling thru twice you cant help but think the worst all the time. so we are going from a 2 bed terraced in a area which isnt the nicest to a 4 bed semi in a lovely area with a garage and big garden and with it being 4 bedrooms ( and myself paying for it lol) i am having a bedrom for my dj room instead of being up in a cold or warm partially converted attic.. cant wait…
ive lost id say maybe £10k on what i did on renovations in the last house, but id say the house we have bought was probably worth maybe £20k more back when i bought mine so it balances itself out i think, but im sure there are a lot of people who have lost a hell of a lot more than that lately the way things are. Im just glad to be out of there and back to where i grew up, as my daughter is starting nursery a week today and she is in a nice nursery now just around the corner from our new house. My mum lives a few streets away, which is good as she’s on her own now. Just looking forward to having the garden, make life easier trying to keep a 3 year old entertained and then there are the summer nights when we get them be able to bbq now and spend nights drinking in the sun just chilling, and its very quiet compared to the busy street we have lived on for the past 5 years. Living near the town centre and the hospital has its disadvantages of police sirens and ambulances whizzing by all the time..

I’ve been eying a farm myself, it’s been on the market for over a year and has a 100 year old barn, working windmill and creek. Anyone else thinking weekend parties?
