Whats going on guys,

So I have an S4 and a MF3D, but have always wanted a piece of my setup to be vinyl. I’ve been considering buying one turntable to go with my S4, to do cuts, scratch, etc on.

What is everyone’s thoughts on this?

I’ve only been considering getting a 1200, but is there anything else that compares or would be sufficient enough? Theres the stanton T-50 right?

A turntable is the best option if you’re wanting to scratch. There are plenty of Super OEM variants out there, but a 1200 Mk2 is probably still the cheapest.

for sure grab a turntable if you want to add something. The midifighter will make it really convenient for scratching samples, and even getting into some juggling routines. +1 for the idea, I think its a good one for sure. As long as everything works, any direct drive TT will work, check some of the threads here, theres lots about all kinds of turntables and what to look for.

Id go with a str8-100 or st150 from stanton.

+1000 on the STR-8 100’s or 150’s.
