Anyone got Live Lite they wanna give away?

Anyone got Live Lite they wanna give away?

Hey everyone,

Since Live Lite seems to come with so much hardware these days, I’d imagine quite a few people that already own Live might have some Live Lite CDs floating around.

Anybody feel like being generous?

perhaps this isn’t super helpful but i did see a person over on the kvraudio forums in the B/S/T that was giving a copy of lite away.

good luck

hmm checked over there

there was one guy selling them for 15 euros each…but they’re both sold now…

anyone else?

The guy says its for people who buy the hardware he’s selling only. :disappointed:

Anyone else got live lite they don’t need?

Ill have a look around for my unused ableton le key i got somewhere or another, wish me luck finding it, ill need it :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve got a coupon that is for $50 USD Off any live product… All yours of you need it

PROOF!;

Thanks guys!

@Bento: Hope you do find it!

@DJMutagen: I’m not quite ready to make the commitment to live yet, so I’m just trying to get live lite to see what I can do with it.

Sweet man! Well I’ll hang on to it for you, you’re gonna love it

What Live Lite like fellas ?

Im not an Ableton user but im thinking of dipping my toes.

Is Lite a good start? Its pretty cheap.

god no, lite it crap lol - theres so many restrictions it will have you pulling your hair out

you could do some reaaaaaly simple djing with it though

Well thats out then.
I value your opinion Bento so i may just go the whole way and buy Live 8.

Do it…

Cheers
D

There should be demos of both of those if you did not know, also its cheaper to upgrade from lite to full last time I checked.

Yeah there is a 30 day demo of Ableton that’s worth checking out. It’s what I was messing around with for awhile before finally deciding that I wanted to get the program.

Seriously though, I’m still blown away by everything it can do. I’ve come from more of a production background than a DJing background, and it’s simply just a great and powerful transition.

I’ve tried out the demo, I definitely like ableton.

But right now i don’t need ALL the functionality of live, so I’d just like live lite to mess around with for now.

Don’t forget too that once you have lite, you can upgrade to the full version for substantially less than it costs to buy otherwise: Buy Live, Push, Max for Live and Ableton merchandise | Ableton

Another way to find a good deal if you’re hard up on cash is to buy the educational version. They usually sell it at universities. You just need to be a student/faculty/staff (or know one, I guess.)

I love Ableton Live.

Hmm, yeah i can get a bit of discount at my local store on the Lite version then maybe upgrade to the full one.

I only wanna see what the fuss is about so buying the full version out right is a bit silly as im not gonna DJ with it. Probably use it to master tracks im making on Maschine and do some warping of tracks to use in Traktor.
