iPhone 4S Released Today… Do Want…
Hey guys, so for those of you that don’t already know, Apple finally released their newest iPhone, the iPhone 4S.
All I can say is this phone is fucking awesome!
I’m especially liking their latest addition to the iPhone, “Siri” the Intelligent Assitant.
Its amazing what it can do, possibly the start of AI? 
Well all I know is I want one, and I’m getting one!

My son needs a new phone because his home screen button has been broken for a couple of months. We’ve just been waiting for today. Not sure yet if I’ll get the new one or him, Probably me since I pay the $300 phone bill. 
I hope the new Foxconn facility can bring us Brazilians the iPhone 4S cheaper then the iPhone4
From what I’ve read is that the new iPhone will be available very soon in Brazil and maybe cheaper.
My fiance told me there’s a Apple factory in Brazil that will be making the iPhone locally.
BTW buddy, I’m heading back to Brazil in 2 weeks for vacation, we’ll be visiting Sao Paulo and Santos.

I have no contract im on a rolling Sim only thingy. Its £20 a month plus £5 insurance and i have unlimited data usage.
So i would have to buy the phone at £500.
Thing is, ive done the maths and if i got it on contract id pay a lot more for the tariff and id be limited in data per month and the costs work out about the same for a year as just buying the phone outright but after that year im golden again paying £20.
Also means i can keep my 3GS (i have a spare pay-as-u-go simcard) and use it as a little controller or sell it.
so is this the “new” big iphone thingy everyone has been waiting for? looks like the old one

Well yes and no. When Apple released the new MBP’s it was the same unibody alu frame but a completely new inside.
The same with the iPhone. Outside looks the same but thats about as far as it goes. The new iPhone has a updated killer cam, faster processor, bigger RAM, and more storage, plus Siri etc…
IMO the iPhone 4S > Win.
I am not impressed at all. So much hype they made and just a decent newer version with better camera Iphone4. So disappointed lol
Will I go to the trouble of swapping my 4 for a 4S - hell no. And I am an Apple fan boy.
I’ll hang out for a 5.
Sorry Apple to little too late, the competition is far more advanced.
too little too late is right. better camera and processor should have been there when teh 4 came out. then it really would have been leading the pack spec-wise. Siri (my guess is this comes from Iris backwards - as in eye - iPhone) seems great but just iOS 5 for the old phones is fine for now. and next year there’ll be an iPhone 5 for sure. i was thoroughly disappointed when i watched this on engadget this morning.
In all honesty that probably what i will do but i really want an iPhone 4 for iMaschine.
It works great on 3GS but id love it on the new phone.
hey Karlos - will the imaschine app be big and clear on ipad - or pixelated like the iphone version of djay?
Sadly it’s less interesting than that. Siri was a separate company that Apple bought back in 2010.
