Anyone Spin Hard Dance?

Anyone Spin Hard Dance?

Do any of you’s spin Hard Dance, like Hardstyle, Hard House, Hardcore, Gabber, UK Hardcore, Early/Old School Gabber? I know a hand full of guys here on DJTT spin it, just wanted to see what you guys spin and some of your favorite artist, djs, duo, or producers.

Ill start,

Gabber Hardcore is what I like to spin mostly stuff from the Netherlands & Italia. artist, DJ Isaac, The Viper, Neophyte, Stunned Guys, Bass-D & King Matthew. Some the newer guys production stuff Im really digging are, Evil Activities, Angerfist, Dj Outblast, Tha Playah.

I wanted to see if any of you guys spin HC made in the states?

I play it in small amounts at certain parties sometimes. I do enjoy playing a bit of hardstyle tbh… So much energy and flanger actually sounds ok :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m not a huge fan though

I dig some hardstyle, but it doesnt has the same oomph as hardcore, plus 145 - 155 bpm is on the slow side for me. I like the basslines and how they chop up alot of top 40s songs and add a hard dance twist to it

If only DJTT forums had a hard dance celebrity…

Not it! :open_mouth:

to bad ur not in north new jersey…people would eat you up jesc

I love hardcore, last year I went to Dominator festival in the netherlands, was excellent, I’m going again this year
Don’t spin it though, its really a niche genre for me, techno is my mainstay.

I wouldn’t mind playing out there. Lady Faith was out there 1 month ago.

I would love to go to Dominator. Did the anthem come out yet?

BTW, I was in a niche genre here in PA, 80s New Wave, Indie Rock & Spanish Rock. I said I’m done with this scene and went back to my 1st Love, Hardcore!

I love me some happy hardcore. Stuff from the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Scott Brown pretty much got me into electronic music and I’ll always have a soft spot for his older tunes like Chase, Boomstick, Elysium, etc. I don’t spin it though. Maybe I will if I start building a collection, but I couldn’t ever see myself playing it out.

yeah, when i mixed vinyl i did.. noise controller, evil activitys, the playah, nosfaratu (sp?), korsacof, tommyknocker ( just played here sat night ), neophyte, angerfist ( fugg yeah  ), outblast, man there is so many good artists.. i actually started to get some hardcore lately but my s4 isnt heaps keen on it as much i dont think.. its more of a vinyl thing.. i do however still spin a bit of hard dance and hard trance on the s4 and she seems to love that..

i havent tried playing HC on the S4, I need to try it out, lets see how that goes

to the prv post about Happy HC, not really my cup of tea.

Anyone into Omar Santana, Lenny D or Rob Gee from h2oh?

Industrial stength records,Mokum, Dwarf and Twisted vinyl (ya gotta love coloured vinyl)

^^Favourite record everrrrrr
Anything Ruffneck Alliance Or K.N.O.R, break beat’s + 909’s movie samples = Heaven

soo many classics all that era of hardcore pretty much wipes the floor with have the shit that’s been released in the last 10 years, part from tommy knocker revolution (the last minute with the kick change)

yeah i feel you, HC has change a lot. Im going thru all my HC from the 90’s and editing & samples for remixes or re-fixes.

I have a crate of HH records that I uses to DJ years ago. Some highlights include white label pressings of Heart of Gold, Shooting Star and most of the Next Generation stuff from 1998-2001. I also have stuff as far back as 1991. Including some Scooter tunes. Hopefully one day I will be able to do a mix for you!

no man we’re all bricking it i think it’s angerfist doing the anthem tbh, and i could see them maybe having to get sample clearance which is why they’ve left it and the actual list of the lineup (not on video) so late. i’m finally going to get to see lenny dee, bass d and neophyte vs tha playah which i can see being UNREAL if anyone happens to be at dominator i’m going to be the fella in the green white and orange angerfist mask!

Lenny is God

if he plays forgotten moments i will wet myself, its the song that got me into hardcore!

ill look for you in the videos, as far as clearing samples. Dutch copywrite laws let you pretty much sample just about anything as long as its a legit remix of the orginal and your not trying to pass off someones else work as yours.

I started spinning UK Hardcore eventually moved on to trance and other rave music. I still take every hardcore gig that I get a chance to do. I love it so much energy and honestly the crowds are 100% the best you can ever find. The people who go really dig the music plus tend to take much more narcotics  I’m a huge fan of hixxy, Al Storm, Dougal & Gammer, pretty much any of the big names in that scene. I really love what modulator has come up with in newer collaborations. I’m actually going to see S3RL this weekend
