Anyone use Boyinaband.com tutorials?

Has anyone ever watched the 7-day tutorials over at Boyinaband.com?

Even if you think you know everything, even if you don’t use Reason (I don’t), there’s a lot you can learn. And, the reason I personally enjoy them, is because you can learn how to make a style of music you know little about, or have never made before.

It’s pretty cool.

Like I said, even though I don’t use Reason, I still find the tutorials very insightful. Anyone else use them?

never seen this before thanks looks like a great series

I’ve watched a few and its a worthwhile checking out for anyone looking to learn despite his special humor and it being very Reason oriented

Thanks!

I’ve used that sites for months. Found it useful when I began making production to learn how to carve sounds that weren’t obvious. Very useful tutorials and I now combine sounds from his tutorials too, like drum method from one style with bass from another, lead from another etc.

They are a good starting point for wannabe producers. I use Reason 5, but rewire it into Ableton so send the midi signal from Ableton to Reason and feed the audio back into Ableton from Reason.

Helped me a treat!

Dubstep one was my favorite. He’s a great tutor when it comes to reason

Yeah, this dude is quality stuff. I’ve been trying to get him to do a tutorial to recreate all the synths used in MJ’s Thriller. Haha.

this looks like a good project for zebra2 vst
