anyone use(d) the audio kontrol 1 as a dj sound card?
if you have, and have some experience with other cards, how does this stand up to the rest? just wondering…
I used to use my AK1 in Traktor Pro with 4 decks and no problems.
It’s an exceptionally good sound card if you don’t need actual timecode control.
I use the AK1 with 2 deck external mixing. It’s good, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with vista x64. Any other system should be fine.
I like the input options and +48v 
i use it with 2 decks with internal mixing on OSX. no issues. very happy with it and the mic input makes it very useful in cases where you dont have a mixer but still need to make some announcments. i also liked the bundled software.
