Anyone using the S4 and AIFF/WAV?
I ask because us S4 users have the same soundcard, and wanted to see if anyone switched over to a lossless format and had a noticeable change in sound quality (especially when playing out).
Of course lossless sounds better. You take a highly compressed EDM track, then rip out bits from it to make it smaller, the few transients left might be ripped out as part of that process.
Now, you need a decent to good PA system to hear the difference, though. Or good studio reference monitors.
