Anyone with a good voice?
Okay this might be a really odd question, but does anyone know anyone that might be good at making some voice samples (ex: the classic “you’re in the mix, with dj _____”)?
Throwing in a “Lambox Remix” voice sample over some of my stuff might be pretty tight…
I’ve been trying to get the same thing done. They have a guy here in l.a. (Power 106) that does the hooks for the dj’s and I’ve been searching all over the net to get his info with no luck.
Just yell out “BIG BOOOYYYEEE” and ring a cow bell. I heard that’s “in” in LA.
Laaaame. You’d think that someone, somewhere would be willing to do this kind of thing for people. That wasn’t in LA, mind you.

What? You’re from LA… I guess you’ve never listened to Power 106 in the morning. That guy Big Boy is on. Before and after every commercial break he and his radio show crew yell out “Big Boyeee” and ring a cow bell.
u should check out http://www.acapela-group.com/text-to-speech-interactive-demo.html they have a nice voice demo…i did some voice samples by recording it via internal soundcard…was a lot of fun.

Haha actually thats some of the most non-computery-sounding computer-generated voice clips I’ve ever heard! If it was so much fun doing yours, wanna do mine for me? 
Oh I was just saying that there’s got to be more people willing to do voice samples somewhere…
And also that were not from the general L.A. area, which was supposed to sound funny and just didn’t make any sense. My Bad. Sorry.

Haha. Not that I mean that seriously. But I really don’t have $10 - 15 to shell out to pay for this… not that I’m a begger or anything… but really…
there are also alot of text to voice generator online, some are free others are trailware.
Oh wow I had no idea the whole text-to-speech thing was such a big deal. naturalreaders.com looks decent… if anyone’s interested. I didn’t actually download it, but testing out the thing on the page sounded pretty good…
Yeah they sound pretty good and alot of the time you can even tell that its a program that is generating the sound
I wouldnt go as far as to say that you cant tell but it is pretty friggen decent - they are getting close.
Yeah it’s actually kind of weird. I expected most of them to be like that Microsoft Sam voice or whatever. It’s odd.
I guess if you used it and fooled with the pitch of the sample and threw some effects on top of it you might get something pretty original…?
Bento, what I saying is that alot of voice drops get put thru fx’s and what not, so the final product is almost the same.
