Anything to say about a Samson sub?

There’s a Samson db1800a on craigslist for $325. It’s an 18 inch powered (1000 watt) sub.

I haven’t been very lucky finding some feedback on it. Was wondering if any of you had something to say about it.
This would be used for house parties and smallish warehouse type rooms.
I already have two full-range ev’s…

I’m not a big fan of Samson products, nor of powered subs in general, but is a good deal, and should sound just fine as bass reenforcement for your EVs.
