# Apc40 help anyone?

**Apc40 help anyone?**

Ok just got my apc40 last night and trying to set it up in live but not having much luck.

it did not come with a disk but i allready have live 8 so what i want to know is how do i set it up like you see in the videos with the red 8x5 grid?  
as when tunred on and open live all i can do is send midi but non of the controls are mapped.thanks

Update to the latest version of live, and select the APC 40 as your Control Surface on the Midi/Sync page of the preferences menu.
