Hey folks,
I got my shiny new APC40 recently, and I’m looking for some sort of template that would fit the bill on what I’m looking for. The main thing really is something identical, or very very similar to the stepper-looper type thing on Darren Cowley’s APC40 template. It seems to have gone missing since late 2009, and that metronome/step looper thing seems to be just what I’m looking for. Everything else on his template I think I can probably set up myself. Anyone able to suggest an alternative solution?

yeah that’s still not really what I’m looking for tbh.
After looking about on the web, I figure I can do it one stage at a time as follows:
Set up a v**isual only** metronome, either through a python script of some sort or otherwise.
Set up the looper in such a way that it works just like beatlookup. I’m actually having some serious difficulty finding the ensemble for this, but i suspect that if I did, it’d be relatively easy to get all this up and running.
While I’m at all this, I’m also toying with the idea of bringing StutterEdit into the equasion, although I’ve never had much luck with the latency issues on that one.
