My trusty Apogee Duet 1 (FW) has to go, because I need more I/O. I’ve had experience with soundcards from NI, TC Electronic, Echo and E-MU and I can say that this is hands down the best sounding interface I’ve ever owned.
Only works on FireWire-equipped Mac’s. Ultra low latencies can be achieved because of the direct communication between the Duet and the OSX kernel: no driver sitting in between!
Comes in the original box with all the cables, booklets, CD’s, etc.
Shipping costs to Denmark are 14,30 euro. This includes signing on delivery, insurance and track&trace. I think the markings are just dirt. We have an ultrasonic bath at work, so I’ll try to clean it properly this weekend. After that I’ll make a photo with a decent camera (this one was taken with my mobile phone). If you’re still not happy with the results after that, you could always buy a new volume knob through Apogee (or maybe a reseller). Let me know what you think about it.
