Are the pioneer hdj 2000 any good for music production?

Does the hdj 2000 have a flat enough sound for music production or is the bass and sound not accurate enough?

You only really need a flat sound when you Mix and Master, so I’d say yip.
A classic example would be asking if KRK Rockits are good for production, yip but for Mixing and mastering, nope

Cool thanks for the help

No Prob, Id also recommend getting a pair of monitoring head phones that are considered flat ( Look up Sennhiser, I know the HD202 are very popular, Presonus HD7 or for a really cheap pair Prodipe Pro580’s) these will give you a better sense as to what a monitoring audio device sounds like versus a stereo and coloured one.

No…those are awesome in the club.

Check into some AKGs or Sennheisers for flat studio monitoring headphones. By the way…I own the HDJ-2000K (Black) and love them for DJing.

Yeah i love them as well they are a masterpiece.

I talk to some audiophile’s and they told me the KRK KNS8400 headphones are good so many option’s.

I use Audio Technica ATH50 for production and mixing down. They have great reviews and I really like them
