hi ,been trying to follow the video to alter the mappin in traktor to create the dynamic sweep , when i select effects in control manager i dont have effects chained , i have effects unit ? can anybody talk me through this , what other aspects will i need to change ie : does the device set up stay as tractor default mappin , in port as keyboard , out port blank etc , also should i be on 2fx units or 4 , any help appreciated
Set four FX units if you want to apply echo-out effect on top of sweep. Add new Generic Device from ‘ADD’ menu > map in all the commands as in video.

thanks for the reply stewe , ive changed the generic device from the drop down list to the mc3000 that was listed , changed fx to 4 units but still dont see fx chained when i go to add-in , just have fx unit
The video you have seen is for Traktor pro but NI have changed mappings for FX units in 2.5 - only one page as you said before. Instead, you can set each command using modifier condition ‘FX Unit Mode Selector’ group/single.
im running traktor pro 2 version 2.6 ,
They had change it in 2.5 and retained in future versions.
tks stewe , i say im running v 2.6 but how can i be sure , anyway of checking , i was under the impression 2.6 had macro fx , when i click the drop down box to add effects i only have fx in the list on the right , if u get wot i mean
If you click on the Traktor Pro logo top left of the software you’ll get a pop-up that will tell you what version your on. You can also click help>about. Have you added the new FX to your available list in preferences?
