Arno Dee’s Dokumenta 06.10 | Techno, Tech-house, Jazz, Dub, Ambient

This is part.two of the series in which I try to explore a wide range of electronical genres. Going from deep, jazzy to tech-house to thrilling dark techno, passing through dubstep, ambient, electronica and synth-pop.
I try to find a balance between “head” music and dance music- switching between up and down-tempo, going from dark to sunshine and back. Comments are appreciated - Enjoy!

I get five stars, but no one has anything to reply?

Giving it a listen now. Sounds good, the perfect Sunday morning mix.

Indeed; the first part is very chill. But towards the end it’s getting more techno/dub-ish with more energy and tempo…

Thanks for the comment man

That’s what makes it good, slowly brings me back to life after a late Saturday night.

And after a while it may bring you back in the same mindstate as last night, which could be a good or a bad thing.

Nice set, although I feel Jamelia (which I totally dig) is out of place and has to face a noticeable key clash before it goes away.
In your defense even James Holden can only mix it in to finish off a set :open_mouth:

I get what you mean; but I just love this song so much I had to put it as an opener. Personally I don’t think the key clash is too dramatic.. “Once Again” was the only song that I found quite suitable. But thanks for the critique!

BTW: all props to J. Holden.

would have a listen but soundcloud doesn’t work with my work proxy..
