Artist and Title - Title and Artist
Something that have driving me nuts for a while is the lack of a standard for mix listings, Artist - Title or Title - Artist. One reason is that it’s a pain to use certain services that insist on one or the other, at least MixCloud now has a swap feature.
Anyway, as I suspect this will never be resolved as humans each have their own ideas, what’s statistically the most common order?
PS: Traktor has by default title - artist…
Artist - Title is what my entire collection follows. Sometimes Track # - Artist - Title.
Title artist for me, but I had to check to recall, so its no a big thing.
To get my tags right though. I use media monkey and the "swap artist title"script

That’s the way my whole collection is organized after exiting Kid3
Track (Mix Name) - Artist [Label]
I dunno what the most common statistical order is, but this is the only way that makes sense to me.
The tune is more important than the artist - there are artists whom I usually don’t like, who have made a tune I do (and vice-versa, specific tunes by an artist I usually like that I won’t play).
