arturia beatstep + traktor
Anyone tried using one of these to sequence the remix decks in traktoryet?

I’m super interested in the BeatStep as well. Not for remix decks, but essentially sending Traktor’s MIDI clock out and then step sequencing on the BeatStep on top of the Traktor tracks. This is already possible and has been done through the Spark (and therefore SparkLE as well) with youtube videos showing this.
I’m a little confused as to the difference between the new BeatStep and the SparkLE which is already out. I think what’s new on the BeatStep is that you can switch between MIDI mode and SEQ mode on the fly. Im guessing you can potentially midi map the BeatStep to trigger Traktor cues (or transport, EQs, filters, etc) for example, then switch to SEQ mode and do some step sequencing. Anybody have any insight?
Also I know the Spark and SparkLE come with the Arturia software which had TONS of awesome sounds to trigger. Same with BeatStep?

So Beatstep doesn’t come included with any kits or the Spark software. Makes sense haha
