artwork missing in some traktor tracks

artwork missing in some traktor tracks

hi,

some tracks i record in via vinyl have no artwork, so i google the artwork, download the picture and click import cover in traktor.

But the next time i open tractor the artwork has gone.

I’ve also noticed this happens sometimes with beatgrids and locked tracks, i open it up and there will be the odd couple of tracks no longer locked and the beatgrid/cues not there.

I’m using TSP2 2.6.5

Any ideas on why this is happening?

have you checked if the format of your records is mp3? if i´m not mistaking traktor saves the informations in the mp3-tags.

yes it happens on mp3 files, as well as WAVS

I don’t normally use traktor to edit my MP3 metadata. If you are using a PC, I’d recommend Media Monkey. On Mac, I’ve always used itunes. Using those, I’ve never really run into that issue.

I’m on mac, i don’t use iTunes anymore purely because of how bad it is.

its strange how the artwork doesn’t stay with the file in traktor.

hm…if it only would happen to .wavs it would make sensse but also to mp3? i don´t know
