ASIO4All

I had to abandon my Audio Kontrol 1 NI Drivers recently due to artifacts in the output after getting the last AK1 firmware update. I’ve been using ASIO4all since and it’s been working great, latency has shot down and audio is clean.

I was wondering though, are there any cons that I’m not aware of to using ASIO4all?

It places much more stress on your CPU then having actual ASIO hardware. But it’s probably much better then using WDM drivers.
