Hey all, I really like the convenience of mixing with my laptop, but looking like such a nerd clicking my mouse and keyboard is not so cool. Ideally I’d like to not have to touch the mouse or keyboard at all while mixing…is it possible to assign the mouse / keyboard control to my x-session pro
i use it all the time, as do many people on this forum. bentosan constantly shows me how little i know about the program
something similiar to your use is done with bomes and ableton to make a “mouseless” ableton rig. if you search around aldj and the ableton forum for that you should find threads with examples.
bomes has a forums as well.
can you be more detailed on your goals and the programs you are using?
I’m just using Torq LE and the X-Session for DJing with my laptop.
Basically I just want to be able to load my tracks onto each Torq Deck via the Torq Explorer. I usually do this by dragging and dropping the tracks with the mouse.
I see there is even a free version of Bomes available for download, but I’m not sure if this version has the functionality I mention above.
Cheers Dean. I recently got traktor too but have had some difficulty sorting out the midi-mapping controls to my x-session. So until I get that sorted I’ve just been using Torq LE for the moment.
