Attention light always blinking

so my ‘attention’ light above the ‘snap’ button is ALWAYS blinking is this normal? I have never had any audio drop outs or s4 failures before , the only thing that is wrong with my s4 is that my mic input doesn’t work , is this maybe it or…what ? Is there really any way to diagnose this blinking problem

Is your lappy plugged? monitor/main volume up?

Try connecting your laptop to a power source - when running just on the battery, it’ll blink.

re. the mic, is that just because it’s not routed properly in the audio settings?

This, set the AUX input in preferences to Channel D and make sure the switch on the back in the Channel D section is set to thru. Also probably need to turn the gain up.
