Attn: Heads up Trolls

Stop making stupid asshole negative comments on peoples mixes. If its not your thing, just dont listen. Simple. I’m going to start deleting your idiotic posts and start giving warnings soon.
Lets keep things constructive guys.

Cheers

can u define negative asshole comments?lol

It’s like “pornography” … he knows it when he sees it..

This could be one…

Nah just having fun with you.

But I agree, I will back Jester up on this one. If we see people trolling too many times, even if they have been warned/have received too many warnings, we will start banning people.
The length of the ban will be as long as we deem fit.

finally…thanks…

i say ban hammer! no warnings! Just ban them outright, you know you want to

I know you are joking, but the reality is that this should be enforced strictly, constructive criticism (or non - negative criticism) is fine but just talking shit to someone for what they made an effort to make (and used a bit of bandwith to share) because the tracklist isn’t “underground” enough or whatnot should have a zero tolerance banhammerizationing… It’s one of the reasons I haven’t been on here as much (not that I was an integral part of the community or anything, I just held down the DnB (with Citizen Insane, and Flash) till Tekki showed back up :stuck_out_tongue:

i have a zero tolerance policy for everything…works just fine…

I call troll :stuck_out_tongue:

On a serious note, totally agree. There are alot of younger beginner dj’s out there who are looking to this forum for support who probably havn’t developed the life skills to deal with some of this in your face criticism/sarcasm etc…:open_mouth:

Keep it constructive :sunglasses:

while i agree with the sentiments, i think an outright ban straight away is a tad hitler’esque.

i try to give my criticism in a similar vibe to the OP. but take a recent instant gratification (why have i not been signed after 2 months) thread…there you had a new producer, who got told exactly what he needed to be told, some of it was probably harsh but necessary

Agreed, I don’t post on here nearly as often as I used to and it’s really disheartening to see some of the asshole comments I have seen. Regardless, we gotta keep our DnB levels up, don’t we? (I think you forgot Tonic in that list or quality DnB Mike, speaking of which, your latest mix is DLing as I type this :stuck_out_tongue:) Speaking of Tekki showing back up… DnB Train cough COUGH… wut?

I am far from a troll, but I will keep my hatred for Dubstep out of peoples threads.

Please forgive me.

I call Godwin’s Law on this thread …

I concur, because Tekki and Jester said so… goes back to contemplating doing a new mix lol

do it bro. just subscribed to your podcast too

apologies for the bluntness of my post guys, its just i have (and i’m sure i’m not the only one) noticed quite a bit of negativity seeping into the mixes section, especially toward the new guys, who come on, just want some advice and guidance, not a slap around the chops with a fish. love & light, J

That’s the message J!

This made me chuckle

+1. Although I’ve not posted so much . I have been on this for forum daily for a few years now. I love it. Now this scepticism and negative vibes creeping in upsets me. Is it not music that unites us and sets us free? Can we not appreciate each others love for music regardless of whatever they spin or produce? Are we not at a stage were we’ve evolved to understand that negativity gets us no where or solves nothing? Or should we just carry on mindlessly reinforcing the ideas of ignorance, selfishness and lack of etiquette? I hope not.

Come on people with out us and unity, that’s another link broken in our part in bringing people together to have a good time! (And maybe peace around the world one day)
