But I agree, I will back Jester up on this one. If we see people trolling too many times, even if they have been warned/have received too many warnings, we will start banning people.
The length of the ban will be as long as we deem fit.

I know you are joking, but the reality is that this should be enforced strictly, constructive criticism (or non - negative criticism) is fine but just talking shit to someone for what they made an effort to make (and used a bit of bandwith to share) because the tracklist isn’t “underground” enough or whatnot should have a zero tolerance banhammerizationing… It’s one of the reasons I haven’t been on here as much (not that I was an integral part of the community or anything, I just held down the DnB (with Citizen Insane, and Flash) till Tekki showed back up :stuck_out_tongue:

On a serious note, totally agree. There are alot of younger beginner dj’s out there who are looking to this forum for support who probably havn’t developed the life skills to deal with some of this in your face criticism/sarcasm etc…:open_mouth:

while i agree with the sentiments, i think an outright ban straight away is a tad hitler’esque.

i try to give my criticism in a similar vibe to the OP. but take a recent instant gratification (why have i not been signed after 2 months) thread…there you had a new producer, who got told exactly what he needed to be told, some of it was probably harsh but necessary

Agreed, I don’t post on here nearly as often as I used to and it’s really disheartening to see some of the asshole comments I have seen. Regardless, we gotta keep our DnB levels up, don’t we? +1. Although I’ve not posted so much . I have been on this for forum daily for a few years now. I love it. Now this scepticism and negative vibes creeping in upsets me. Is it not music that unites us and sets us free? Can we not appreciate each others love for music regardless of whatever they spin or produce? Are we not at a stage were we’ve evolved to understand that negativity gets us no where or solves nothing? Or should we just carry on mindlessly reinforcing the ideas of ignorance, selfishness and lack of etiquette? I hope not.

Come on people with out us and unity, that’s another link broken in our part in bringing people together to have a good time! (And maybe peace around the world one day)
