Audience samples
Just got this probably weird idea of (subtly) using samples of an audience cheering/screaming to really pump up the energy. Would I be insane to do so, has someone tried it already (how did it go?) or is it even common practice?
id just do my best to make the audience scream 
could backfire on you and sound really naff imo
Played a gig on the weekend, The client wanted some crowd noises to pump up the big entrance. Worked really well
