How good is this soundcard for production purposes? I have one, use it with Traktor, not sure if I should get a different one for making mah own shit? ^^
should be able to handle what you need, it has the ability to process 24-bit audio (CD quality is 16-bit) and has up to a 96k sample rate (CD quality is 44.1k), so you’ll be able to record at the same quality as is standard at the moment.
note: if you bounce a file out at anything higher than 16bit/44.1k, it won’t play on a cd or itunes, so make sure those are the settings before you send off tracks or anything like that.
