Audio 6 or Audio 10? Help Please DJTT!
The set up i am looking to use are 2 1210’s, 2 X1’s, a Xone:92 and an iPad with TouchOSC controlling Ableton. I want to route Traktor through to Ableton internally using Jack Audio to implement plugins and FX and was wondering if an Audio 6 will do the job or will i need an Audio 10?

Depends on how many decks you’re willing to use? I’d say go for the Audio 10, because it has 10 mono outputs. This way you can route all 4 Traktor Decks and have 1 channel for a Send/Return FX unit in Ableton.

I will only really be using 3 decks however, you never know what will change in the future - Audio 10 it is!
+1 for the A10.
Just remember the A10 requires an external power supply and the 6 doesn’t if that is important to you

Is this true??? Would love the fact i dont have to plug my A6 into the mains when playing in a club
Yep, it was a pretty poor design move by NI, their engineers weren’t trying hard enough since the SL4 is the same 10 in 10 out specs and doesn’t require external power.
wow i had no clue that it needed a external power source. Giant fail.
