audio interface for vci-100

hii
i cant come to a decision which audio interface to buy to my vci-100
is the vestax vai-40 good one or should i wait a little for the vestax vai-80?
and what is balanced output and is it essential or for what use is it essential?

I myself use the numark DJIO. It’s got exactly everything you’d normally need. I use it in the following two set-ups:

I dj at home/myself: one output is setup to the amplifier, the other one to the monitor together with the same signal through the headphones.

I dj with a friend: both outputs serve as deck-seperate routings, i’ll do the cueing on the mixer i’m routing towards.

I got it running stable at 2.5ms.. pretty OK.
