Audiofire 4 with Traktor
For those with experience running Audiofire 4 with Traktor.
Can I only use one ASIO program at a time?
When I open a second application, for example Ableton, it says the audio output is in use by another application.
Traktor uses both outputs and I am stuck with nothing left? NI Audio 4 DJ let me use multiple programs in ASIO for single output. Why can’t Audiofire? I would hate to return this card, because it sound quality is amazing.
It’s a limitation of your soundcard/ASIO driver combo. Not multi-client capable.

I tried the card on my Macbook and there are is no such issue since it’s using Coreaudio instead of ASIO. Is anything like that possible on Windows?
Any workaround to run multiple applications?

You could use your WDM (the windows system) drivers. Everything would have access to your card then (at the expense of latency in all probability).
