bad sound quality from audio 2 dj
iv got the a 15 inch macbook pro with 4 gb ram 2.6ghz running traktor pro with a vci 100 and audio 2 dj sound card. The sound quality all of a sudden has become all distorted and barely listenable, however, when i plug my speakers straight into the laptops internal sound card it sounds fine.
Im thinking it may be an audio latency problem, but iv mucked around with the sliders and settings to no avail.
please help, i cant stand djing like this. cheers
When you say ‘all of a sudden’, have you changed anything since it started doing this ? Have you tried changing latency settings ?
yeah i was playing around with some of the latency settings cause the sound was sounding different. but there is no noticeable change in the problem when i adjust the latency settings
Do you have any way to check your cables/connectors on a known good source?
ok so i swapped the outputs of audio 2 dj, i made channel a master, and b monitor. this seemed to have solved my problem. just have to hope it stays like this
