Bass recording help?
Hello all,
I’ve had this idea to use my bass in conjunction with Ableton. I am into a lot of funk, and want to combine it with some electronic sounds. What are some good audio effects to run through the bass track to get some sweet sounds? I am using Guitar Rig as of now.

Suggestions? not really, play around with some effects and see what happens. I would assume you’d want a more organic bass sound if you are using a real one, and into funk stuff. To me it seems to defeat the purpose of using a real bass if you want it to sound more electronic…just using a synth bass would be easier and more efficient to making an electronic sound.
