you have them both selected in MIDI Setup?
yes, the problem is when i try to assign a function with the uc, traktor understand the signal as another already mapped with the bcd, this is, differents knobs/faders do the same thing already mapped on bcd…
oh, you need to use different MIDI channels. The guide for the UC-33e goes over how to change what channel it transmits on.
looks like im missing something… please a little more help? i just packed out the box my uc-33
Read this guide to basic MIDI. If you’re going to get into digital DJing you should have a better idea of what MIDI is and how it works.
thanks bro!
the funny thing is i’ve been doing digital djing for like a year… but been to lazy to read info stuff.
thanks again!
good luck to you.
Reading will be the key to your success in the digital world ![]()
There are several programs you can use to change midi channels, id personally grab a copy of Bomes Midi Translator Classic.
Oh please Bento… haha… he can do it IN the UC-33e. There’s no need to throw Bomes at him yet.

Yeah, lets not throw partical physics at someone who hasn’t mastered algebra II yet.
lol you all talk up Bomes like its some impossible to master program ![]()
Stop giving people the wrong opinion its soooo easy !
Incomming
90 pp qq
Outgoing
91 pp qq
So easy !
But if you can do it on the unit go that route, if not it would have a great time to learn the very simple basics of bomes.
Bomes isn’t very difficult when you have a working knowledge of MIDI, Bento. But you gotta learn how MIDI channels work, and how octave changes work, and how CC changes work before you can understand was 90 pp qq can mean. ![]()
pls, another reference?
Just do a search on Google if you really need more. It’s not hard to find TONS of references for MIDI
This is probably the best source.
I heart you ![]()
You dont need to learn how they work, you just follow Bento’s instructions and trust him that he knows what he is doing ![]()
