beatgridding problems with traktor pro
ive been using traktor pro s4 for a while but just installed traktor pro 2 on my laptop since thats the direction they are heading and ive noticed the beatgridding is far less accurate on this. is there a reason for this? ive had almost no problems with the auto grid when using the s4 version but noticed that i have to adjust almost every song in traktor pro 2
They are supposed to have auto grids improved in the up coming 2.5 version. NI did change some things from the S4 version to TP2.x.x that made auto grids less accurate.
I always check and fix the grids for any new song though as I add it to my collection. Just part of the routine.
New edm rarely drifts or gets off grid, but you never know for sure untill you check. I don’t want any suprises at a gig.
BTW 2.5 is due out by the end of May.
/facepalm. then they can just change it back to the s4 version for 2.5 and claim improvement! genius. hopefully its a huge improvement then haha
it was probably caused by some knock on effect of other changes they made, happens a lot in development. i’ve never used the s4 version but lets hope 2.5 is even better than that anyway…
