Beatport Account Suspension
Anybody know how fucking long it takes for your account to be unlocked after its been suspended from failed login attempts?
Since its afterhours Im getting nothing from support and would like to download my purchase I just made tonight?
(yea I checked the “knowledge base”)
Not sure man but i would hope its no more than 24 hrs otherwise your screwed with trying to d’load your purchase. How long do have to re-download songs from beatport its only 1 day after purchase yeh?
Ive lost purchases before from beatport because of crappy internet while travelling, was able to download the tracks but this was a few years ago now. not sure what their policy is like now.
You should be able to download them even days after.
you can send their support team an email, and they will respond within a short period of time. this happened when i started using beatler.
nothing special in subject line (Reset password?), and explain in body.
yeah same thing happened to me when i opened beatler…
mine was about a week for the turnaround for them to unlock it… but i didnt have any undownloaded purchases at teh time

I sent 3 emails in typical end-user freakout mode but shit…
(support@beatport.com, myaccount@beatport.com and resetpassword@beatport.com)
The account was activated THIS MORNING :eek:
I usually have really good experiences with them and support but this is just plain stupid. I cant believe this is not automated to address an afterhours issue.
Anyway, I downloaded them and am good to go.
