Been ripped off my DJTT member.

Been ripped off my DJTT member.

Hi i bought something from a member on the forum and i think i have been screwed over,it was only £50 but i still want it back its been like 9 days

i cant raise an issue with paypal as it was not for goods or services.

but i do have his bank account details (as he wanted payment in the bank before we agreed on paypal)

so how do i track him down? can i call his bank and get his address?

NAME AND SHAME! NAME AND SHAME!

Actually dont as there could be a reason for the delay!

Yes, first find out if possible what happened. If no response, then I think it’s fine to flag such an individual here so nobody else would get into trouble with this individual.

…?

I have contacted mods and he is all ready banned he gave me a list of exuess
And I just don’t buy them, was ment to be posted next day delivery over 9 days ago and the past 3 he has been ignoring me,just want to know can I get his address from his bank if I ring them up.

First of all, no. Second of all, what would you do if you had it?

Bake him a cake of course

PM me his name and I will find him.

For £100, of course.

Oh Archie.

I’ll do it for £90.

So Tommy if you could just transfer the money to me via email then I’ll TOTALLY sort it out for you, he he he!

£80 and you only have to wire me half.

sigh

Right Tommy for £20 I’ll take out Dripstep, then 10 rubs to do the mystery DJTT member!

No.

…still wondering what you could have bought that was neither a good or a service though

This what Lethal Pizzle mentioned primairly.

just name and shame…we can all bombard him until he sorts it out

Name and shame is pretty lame

Ripping people off their hard earned money, thats fucking lame.

I’m against it because I’ve seen many times where it is one guys story over another and their name and address gets plastered over forums when a lot of times the claims aren’t even true or it is really skewed. Now that guys name comes up in google associated with ripping people off and it may or may not be true.

There is plenty of buyer protection in place through paypal and if this transaction isn’t covered it’s partially his own damn fault. It sounds like OP sent money for a paypal ‘gift’, in which case this was a risk he was taking to get around fees knowing he would have zero protection to save a couple bucks.

Pro tip: don’t send money as a paypal ‘gift’ unless it is really a gift

I’ve sent him a PM yesterday, but haven’t banned him yet. Maybe he was in a wreck and is in the hospital. Maybe his mother died. Maybe he’s a scumbag. You never know the kinds things that can delay something like this and publicly calling him out won’t do any good. Hopefully we can get this resolved.

Put sort code in Google, might bring up the place in uk they’re from, If uk based, we have the ability to trace people at my work…

Just a thought…
