finally decided to post pics of my new(ish) set up. last time i posted pics, i had an ns7 and dr dre headphones. i think i’ve improved a bit.

this is my entire setup :smiley:. i have an s4, black macbook pro (getting old :confused: looking to upgrade to a new mbp soon), two technics 1210m5g, 5"pioneer monitors, midifighter classic (for sale!), midifighter 3D. i had a xone 4d mixer but sold. i am currently looking to buy a djm900

i ditched the beats for the xone 53 headphones. i thought those were a bit heavy and didnt like them so i ended up selling those and getting these :smiley:. the tma1’s (fools gold edition) are amazing!

i use this when i decided to mess around on ableton. for a while i had it mapped to a dj template in ableton and in traktor.

i used this in ableton for a while with an audiokontrol1 soundcard. after this i switched to the launchpad.

How are those pioneer monitors performing? I’ve been looking for feedback on them as im looking to purchase the s-dj08’s, is there enough bass for 5" or if you had to repurchase would you buy again upgrade to 8" or get a different set entirely? if they arent good im going for dynaudio (if i can find a deal) or yamaha hs80m, but not super huge into production mainly for Dj Mixes in my chill lounge
PS great setup dude! jealous of your justice album signed, i went to coachella but was unable to get a singed copy from justice but their set was insanity at its best so it was ok til you showed me that haha :wink:

sorry for the late response! they’re great! the bass is pretty good and they aren’t muddy at all. mid range is very clean as well. nice and loud :smiley:

i should have an update on my setup by next week. got rid of a lot of stuff in order to simplify/downsize

nope :disappointed: i havent DJ out for almost a year now. i’ve been busy helping my job get things together for our big move to austin. hopefully i’ll start DJing there. i think i’ll be going back to an ableton set up with Push

this is my production desk. Its the Airia desk from herman miller. right now i am just using my 13 rmbp. i am waiting for the upcoming WWDC to see if apple is putting out a new display sometime soon. I have the Arturia 49 as my main keyboard.

Justice is freaking great.

They are quite accurate, still pretty prominent in the low end-midbass.
Dynaudio will be much more balanced.
