Best program for normalizing

any suggestions??

You’ll have to explain what you mean by Normalising. What is your interpretation of the word, and what do you want to achieve?

Why would he need to do that? Hes using the correct word for what he wants, its the rest of you that want to make up audio production words to fit their application.

I use MediaMonkey for mass file adjustments Tifum, others might have a better suggestion

How do you know what he wants?

I’ve found that words that fit their application are MUCH MORE useful than words that have an ASSUMED meaning, anyway.

And you know what they say about people that make assumptions.

I use Audacity myself.

Audition man here. I do use it for tons of other stuff, otherwise it doesn’t justify the cost

+1
It’s free. It’s good.
Recording from mixer, normalising mp3’s, mastering promo mixes,…

Logic here. There’s actually a box to check if when you bounce a track to normalize the audio file after bouncing. There’s also a normalize function in the audio editor if you’re not bouncing anything. Also you can use search peak before you normalize to make sure you aren’t just normalizing to some errant peak like a pop in vinyl or an effect gone out of hand.
