Best techno festival to go to?

wondering what good techno festivals there is?

someone said something about a festival on mars. pretty post techish lineup. problem is this one is so hipster you´ll never be able to make it.

but on a serious side: we have some really really top notch techno festivals here in germay. and i´m not talking about love parade and stuff.
i´d say fusion would be my first choice (even if it´s not all techno acts playing there) http://www.fusion-festival.de/

they play techno at fusion? only thing i heard in this direction the last two years was techhouse. but they get more and more bassmusic going on.. love it..

you wont find many festivals for this season tough.. most of them happened already..

Yeah, the panda beat me to it, but there can be only one answer: Fusion, end of story.

weltraumpapst has got a point though, you won’t find Berghain style techno there…

I’m pretty sure that there is a techno/minimal festival inside a castle somewhere in Eastern Europe. Any know what this is called?

Maybe the Exit festival in Serbia is what you’re thinking of. It’s not all techno though

I was @ hideout in Pag this year and it’s the best tech festival I’ve ever been to (there were other genres but that seemed like the prevailing one). I dare say for that weekend it was better than Ibiza (less of the 'lads on tour type just cool people into their music), obv over a whole season though it’s no comparison.

Next up this year I’m hitting the closing parties, Fly Bermuda (Berlin) the Warehouse Project and I Love Techno, so they might be worth a look!
